This module allows learners to either be a customer or a cashier. In the customer lesson, learners select junk food items and must give the correct amount of money to the cashier. In the cashier lesson, learners are given a food total and amount, and must return the proper change to the customer.
This module teaches about the relative value and worth of coins. Learners are then taught strategies for counting by 1’s, 5’s, 10’s, and 25’s to make adding coins easier.
